When is the Last Day?
Topic: End of the Age
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? (Matthew 24:3 KJV)
Over many years, many people have been wondering when the last day of the earth is. Yet, many people have been failing to predict the coming of Jesus Christ to rapture His Church and judge the world. As His disciples asked Jesus when shall be the end of the age, we still have not figure out the last hour until we would see the coming of our Messiah. Is Jesus playing a waiting game? Or are we dumb enough to try to calculate His return? What is the deal here?

Although we are patiently waiting for His coming, God knows how much we like to see Him again. We are still living here because His time is not same as ours. He wants us to be involved with His work plan. Matthew 24:14says, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” We are here to work to finish that He gave us to do (Matthew 28:18-20).
It is not matter of the fact that we try to calculate His coming or trying to make impress to Him that how we are holy. None of these do not matter to Him. God only wants for us to wait for His coming and be ready and proclaim His messages to others.
Let’s think about if Jesus already came when
World Trade Tower hit by some radical religious leaders. Were we ready for His coming? Probably, not. Those people in the building were not to face against their enemies. But they cannot stop from happening. It was already set for Islam to attack United States on September 11, 2001. This will be the same event when Jesus would return to rapture His people and judge the nations.
Unfortunately, God left us with His manual for us to prepare for His returning—the Holy Bible. The real question is: Are you ready? As we see on the media, we are beginning to see the birth pain that describes in Matthew 24:6-8.
Are you and your loved ones for the coming of Jesus Christ? If not, I’d like to encourage you accept the free gift of salvation that He would like to give you. If you want your family to be in the family of Jesus Christ, then you first need to acknowledge to God that you are sinner and ask for forgiveness; and then invite Him to be in the center of your and your family life.
